A band well known throughout the
Country scene. They are also known as LASS VEGAS when backing Nadine
Somers.... Line Up... Rob & Andy"SIDEWINDER" Appearing on the scene for the first time as recently as January of 2003 (although with the current line-up not until September 2003!) the band have hit the Country circuit with a bang - already very popular with the dancing fraternity they also have a strong following with the Country listeners as well, and that is probably down to their approach being along similar lines to the late "Circuit Judge" band that finished with the untimely death of Pat Judge in the summer of 2002 - whose motto was "Keep 'em happy and keep 'em dancing!"
One of the reasons for that, of course, is that "Sidewinder" has Stuart Payne (a much respected musician for the last 10 years or so) in the same role he had with Circuit Judge - ie. keyboards, guitars & harmony vocals plus being responsible for the "engine room" of the band…..the bass & drums backing are of course the very backbone of a band's sound so this work, coupled with his exceptional music talents, make Stuart such a valued guy with ANY Country outfit.
